What Is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a baked-on, electrostatically applied finish that offers:
● Strong adhesion to steel
● Even color coverage
● Corrosion, chip, and scratch resistance
● UV Stability
This makes it ideal for industrial applications and projects requiring a visually appealing, long-lasting finish.
Our Powder Coating Process
1.0 Surface Preparation & Media Blasting
High-quality adhesion starts with a clean surface. Parts are cleaned using media blasting to remove rust, scale, and old coatings. This creates the proper surface profile for the powder to adhere.
- We also offer media blasting as a standalone service for restoration projects.
2.0 Powder Application
Using state-of-the-art equipment, powder is applied electrostatically to ensure even coverage, even on complex profiles and sharp edges.
3.0 Curing & Quality Control
Components are baked in a controlled oven. Once cured, each part is inspected to ensure a consistent, smooth finish that meets our quality standards. We can accommodate parts up to 18 feet long in an 8ft x 8ft widow (Oven is 8x8x18. Our process ensures consistent colour, smooth finishes, and long-lasting protection.
